In the lighthouse , Mr. Abu Attieh mainly works with children from grades 3 to 5. B. the mediator training or also helps with translations / interpreting between German and Arabic.

  • MON - FRI from 7.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m

  • Room No. 13 (ground floor)

In the model project "Securing and optimizing educational careers early on" Ms. Demir and Mrs Herman work mainly with the beginning of school (Saph) and the 6th grade.

Her focus is on the transition phases.

The school social worker supports our children

  • for problems with personal behavior that lead to quarrels and arguments

  • in the (independent) resolution of conflicts

  • in strengthening self-esteem against exclusion and bullying

  • for problems related to learning and teaching

  • with family stress


Parents are supported by school social work

  • Establishing and maintaining contacts

  • constructive conversations

  • making binding agreements

  • Mediation and translation of in conversations between parents and educators

  • Information on culture, origin and manners


The following offers are aimed at our educational staff:

  • Social learning in the classroom with the teachers and class educators

  • Assistance in conducting the class council

  • Exchange of needs of the individual children

  • joint parent talks and home visits
